Sous Chef – Award winning gastro pub Hertfordshire Up to £30,000
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, career driven Sous Chef to join the team at a picturesque rosette awarded gastro pub with rooms in Hertfordshire.
The menus are full of creativity, imagination and a determination to be the best fine dining destination in the area and you will help the head Chef accomplish that.
For this role you will need:
The ability to produce top quality fresh food at volume.
Good hygiene awareness and be able to manage consistency
The desire and determination to climb the career ladder and help take the business to an even higher level
Good organisation/communication skills
Recent experience at recognised establishments as a Sous Chef
To work effectively as part of our kitchen team
Running the kitchen when the Head Chef is away
Ensuring your brigade has high culinary standards
Managing food purchasing and storage
Maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen environment
Helping train Chefs on new recipes
